Francisco Baquerizo Racines (b. 1993, Quito, Ecuador)

 

Currently living and working in The Netherlands.

 

Baquerizo Racines holds an MA in Fine Arts from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht (2022) and a BA in Visual Arts from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (2017). His first solo exhibition, Observando: el tiempo, was presented in 2017 at the Fondo de Cultura Económica in Quito, and his work has been featured in various group exhibitions across Ecuador, South America, and the Netherlands. His publication Escrito en Piedra (2019), a collaboration with Adrián Balseca, is part of the collection of publications at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) library.
